Who We Are

Helen Yeomans is the accomplished founder and director of Devon’s Glorious Chorus community choir. Her uplifting material is all written or arranged by herself. She will lead the main morning sessions. We also aim to record these songs onto a CD for you at the end of the camp. For a taste of her work go to www.gloriouschorus.co.uk

Gavin Frank uses chant, movement, the Indian scale, improvisation and deep listening skills to explore, embody and express the full range, resonance and spectrum of the authentic voice. For a taste of his work go to www.listentothevoice.co.uk

Ruth Jenni is a musician/songstress and drummer extraordinaire. She will teach song-writing and encourage you to perform your work at the camp. Her work is as suitable for absolute beginners as it is for seasoned professionals.

Rob Carney is our blues man. He will teach arrangements of blues numbers from prison worksongs through to modern blues. You will also find him round the fire with his guitar and bringing the blue to every corner of the camp.

Graham Burgess is our jazz man. He teaches barbershop "tags"  and offers a couple of sessions on music theory. He is also our site manager and is responsible for the practical smooth running of the camp.

Nick Price holds a daily sharing space on the camp which is a safe, supportive environment for participants to connect with and share how they are feeling. Nick also hosts several of our evening sessions, leads "buskers favourites" singalongs and early morning "cosmic poetry".

Felicity Scott facilitates our magnificent children's team. As well as ensuring that all children have a fantastic time, Felicity is also an accomplished drummer and she provides the rhythmic pulse behind the camp. You can find out more about Felicity and her work at http://www.the-hothouse.co.uk/

The camp will be facilitated by Daverick Leggett who sings with Glorious Chorus and has run camps for the last 20 years.
