Helen Yeomans is the accomplished founder and director of Devon’s Glorious Chorus community choir and winner of the prestigious UK national songwriting competition 2015. Ruth Jenni is a musician/songstress and drummer extraordinaire. She will teach song-writing, help you find inspiration and encourage you to perform your work at the camp. Her work is as suitable for absolute beginners as it is for seasoned professionals.
Roxane Smith is renowned for teaching uplifting, fun and funky songs in harmony. She teaches throughout the UK and is a prime mover of the yearly Sing For Water charity bash. She also brings the challenge and magic of polyphony. To find out more go to www.harmonyjunky.co.uk/.
Rob Carney is our blues man. He will teach arrangements of blues numbers from prison worksongs through to modern blues. You will also find him round the fire with his guitar and bringing the blues to every corner of the camp. See www.robcarneymusic.co.uk
Graham Burgess is our jazz man and you will often hear his jazz guitar around the camp. He teaches barbershop “tags” and offers a couple of sessions on music theory. He is also our site manager and is responsible for the practical smooth running of the camp.
Nick Price holds a daily sharing space on the camp which is a safe, supportive environment for participants to connect with and share how they are feeling. Nick also hosts several of our evening sessions, leads “buskers favourites” singalongs and early morning “cosmic poetry”.

Claire Anstee directs four community choirs in Devon and Somerset. She is a sensitive facilitator and her style is relaxed, affirming and fun. Claire has a particular passion for African, Eastern European and Jazz harmonies. Singing with Claire will definitely put rhythm in your toes and a spring in your step!
Fran Andre brings her love of songs with funky roots, particularly Gospel and African. She loves to improvise both vocally and as a cellist, and to encourage others to experiment with this kind of musical freedom too.
Jamie Dawes is a choir leader and singer living in North Wales. He loves nothing more than getting people singing in harmony and having a good laugh, or at least a good giggle whilst doing so. Expect to learn anything from Pop to African to Welsh folk. You’re bound to have fun!
